The Buckinghamshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers was founded in 1954 to promote, share and enjoy our three crafts.
We meet on the first Saturday afternoon of each month in the Barn Hall at the Community Centre in Amersham on the Hill.
Our meetings may consist of an outside speaker relating to one of our three crafts, or a members’ meeting when we share our own work, and exchange our own knowledge and experience.
We also demonstrate our crafts at various events throughout the summer.
We run a Spinning and Knitting group on Monday evenings. You can bring your wheel or your knitting to either. We are very flexible as the important point is to craft together, whatever you are working on.
Membership is open to anyone who shares our interest in the textile crafts. No experience necessary.
We are affiliated to the National Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers, and are one of many Guilds to be found within the British Isles.
